The spotting starts 10 days after the ovulation day because it takes that little leakage of blood a lot of time to travel because it is such a tiny portion.
The spotting is the main indicator of whether it is Implantation Bleeding or not. The blood can be light pink to dark brown and there may or may not be blood clots. In case there is stomach cramps or some sort of discomfort or substantial flow of blood, there is no need to panic about this. Even though home pregnancy tests are a reliable hCG urine test, it is best to perform an early pregnancy ultrasound to determine the state of the uterus. If after the spotting stops, period does not occur but cramps still exist, it may be some other sort of gynecological trouble and should be reported to a specialist immediately. It is important not to panic if there is slight bleeding while a woman is trying to conceive, because Implantation Bleeding may vary from person to person.
